Product Law of Exponents: Two Truths & a Lie Digital Activity
Help your students master simplifying expressions with exponents by applying the product law of exponents with this fun, engaging, and self-checking digital activity! For each problem, students simplify the expression using the product law of exponents as well as their knowledge of negative exponents. Students use their expressions to determine which of the 3 statements is a lie. Students explain the lie by typing directly into the digital activity. Includes 8 slides in all (24 expressions).
When assigned as “make a copy for each student” in Google Classroom, students can delete the circle with the task card number in the upper left-hand corner to reveal the answer and check their work. Students love being able to get instant feedback on their understanding! If their answer is incorrect, encourage students to go back and check their work/redo their work!
